Meet The Team

Alison Brightey - Heighington Manager

Hi I’m Ali,
I am the manager at Heighington After School Club. I am a very busy mum of 6 to 3 girls and 3 boys ranging from 2.5years to 16years old.
I have worked in childcare for 14 years now, the best part I love about my job is the fact every day is completely different, full of fun, giggles, dramas, and who doesn’t like to act like a kid playing tag or bulldog?
I am currently trained as Level 2 Diploma in Early Years and Young People’s Workforce, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Welfare of Children, Fire Safety, Risk Assessing, Food Preparation and Hygiene.
I love to bike ride, take the dog for a country walk, swimming and of course a nice tasty afternoon cake!

Laura Jones

Hi I’m Laura,
I work at the After School Club based in Heighington. I love anything that involves arts and craft and exploring new places. I enjoy travelling and learning about new cultures.
I am Paediatric First Aid trained and I have all my Food Safety, Safeguarding Children and Health and Safety certificates.
I studied social science at the university of Lincoln and have worked in childcare for 10years. I love to see children having fun and exploring new things.

Claire Lamming

Hi, I’m Claire
I have worked in childcare for 9 years, working with early years right through to senior school aged children.
I have a Diploma Level 3 in Young People and Children’s Workforce, a Level 2 in Teaching and Learning in Schools and I have recently qualified as a Counsellor (therapeutic). I have my Safeguarding in Children, Health and Safety and Food Hygiene certificates.
I like to go for walks in the country, spending time with my family and to read.
The part of my job love is being with and guiding the children, having a good relationship with them and helping them with their social skills.
